Request account deletion

TechDori does not currently provide a self-service deletion button. To request deletion, email support@techdori.com from the address associated with your TechDori account.

Use the subject Account Deletion Request and state that you want the TechDori account associated with your sending address deleted. Do not include a password, Magic Link, OAuth code, token, or identity document unless TechDori provides a secure, necessary verification process.

Identity verification

TechDori must verify that the requester controls the affected account. Verification will normally use the account email or an authenticated-session check. A request cannot be completed when ownership cannot be reasonably verified.

Data covered by deletion

After verification, deletion is intended to remove or de-identify:

• The TechDori authentication account, subject to the authentication provider's deletion process.
• Profile name and preferred language.
• Preferred categories and merchants.
• Favorite deal records.
• Recently viewed deal records.
• Hidden deal records.
• Private recommendation interaction records, including affiliate-click intent associated with the account.

Affiliate click records are not designed as user-account records and do not contain a TechDori user identifier. Raw referrer and user-agent metadata is subject to the retention policy described in the Privacy Policy.

What may remain temporarily

Limited information may remain where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute handling, financial records, or backup recovery. Backups are overwritten on their normal schedule and are not restored solely to recover a deleted account.

Support correspondence may be retained as needed to document and complete the request.

Timing

TechDori aims to complete a verified deletion request within 30 days. A longer period may be required where permitted by law, and TechDori will provide an update when reasonably possible.

Google account access

Deleting TechDori does not delete your Google Account. You can separately remove TechDori access through Google Account connections. Removing Google access alone does not delete data already held in the TechDori account, so complete both steps when you want both access revocation and account deletion.

Confirmation

TechDori will send a completion notice to the account email when reasonably possible. After deletion, saved deals and preferences cannot be restored.
